Everyone's experience is unique, and I think therapy should reflect that. I create an affirming, culturally responsive space where you don't have to translate yourself before you can heal.

About

A little more about me

I'm a Registered Counselling Therapist Candidate with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists. My work is dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate life's challenges through a compassionate, person-centred approach.

I work with clients who are struggling to regulate their emotions, navigating life and career transitions, dealing with general mental health concerns, processing trauma, or living with anxiety or depression. Given my background in dietetics and nutrition, I also work with individuals impacted by eating disorders.

I practice from a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and socially just lens. That means therapy with me feels inclusive, respectful, and tailored to your experience and worldview. Diversity and your unique perspective add to our work together, not complicate it.

I provide individual therapy to adults and adolescents 16 and up, with sessions available in English, Urdu, and Hindi. I see clients in person in Dartmouth and Halifax, and online across Nova Scotia.
